Due to the move of our holdings to off-site storage, during January and February we will be closed each Monday and Tuesday. We will be open Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and the Second Saturday of each month, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Also closed Sundays and Federal holidays.

Genealogy Open Houses

Join us for our Friday Genealogy Open Houses held at the National Archives at Philadelphia in center city Philadelphia, usually on the first Friday of each month. Meet other genealogists and National Archives staff for discussions about genealogy. 12 noon to 2:00 p.m.

Exhibit: Documented Rights Part II

The National Archives at Philadelphia opens Documented Rights, part 2, a traveling exhibition in May, 2012. The exhibit features a sampling of documents from all regions of the National Archives. These documents give voice to our national struggle for personal rights and freedoms. The exhibit will be on display through May, 2013.
