Approximately 95 emerging student leaders from underrepresented sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa will be selected for participation in the NESA UGRAD Program.

SportsUnited: International Sports Programming Initiative (ISPI): Due February 22, 2013

Projects designed to reach out to youth and promote mutual understanding by increasing the professional capacity of those who design and manage youth sports programs in select countries in Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, the Near East and North Africa, South and Central Asia, Europe and Eurasia, and the Western Hemisphere.

Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES) Placement Components: Due March 5, 2013

An open competition for cooperative agreements to support exchanges and building of lasting ties between high school students from countries with significant Muslim populations and the people of the United States.

Professional Fellows Program: Due March 25, 2013

The Professional Fellows Program is a two-way, global exchange program designed to promote mutual understanding, enhance leadership skills, and build lasting and sustainable partnerships between mid-level emerging leaders from foreign countries and the United States.

U.S. - Indonesia Youth Leadership Program and Youth Leadership Program with Burma: Due March 25, 2013

The program with Indonesia is a two-way exchange; applicants must propose both an exchange for Indonesian participants in the United States and an exchange for American participants in Indonesia.

Youth Ambassadors Program with South America: Due March 29, 2013

Public and private non-profit organizations may submit proposals to recruit and select youth and adult participants, to provide the participants with three-week exchanges focused on civic education, community service, and youth leadership development, and to support follow-on projects in their home communities.
