  • 2/22: Junior Rangers - Gunpowder Falls State Park
    Kids from 9-12 years old are invited to get outside, explore the park, discover nature, and learn about the environment through hands-on activities. Sign up soon because space is limited and you do not want to miss out on all the fun! Children ages 5-8: Park Pals are introduced to the outdoors through games, crafts, and activities with a nature theme. This program gets our youngest visitors involved in the same topics as Junior Rangers, but with a hands-on approach that is tailored to early childhood. It is perfect for the younger siblings of Junior Rangers! Children ages 2-4: Sprouts will be introduced to the outdoors through crafts, stories, and activities with a nature theme. This program gets our youngest visitors involved in hands-on activities that enhance early childhood development. Sprouts will only be from 10-11 a.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Sprouts are welcome to stay and play while their older siblings complete their sessions. Please call 410-592-2897 for more information.

  • 2/23: Owl Prowl - Elk Neck State Park
    Join a naturalist as we explore the nighttime world of the owl. Take a hike and look, listen, and call for our creatures of the night. Meet at the Park Headquarters building.
