2012 CBP Family Heritage Month Program

The Office of Diversity and Civil Rights is pleased to announce its program commemorating the 2012 Family Heritage Month, which is celebrated annually at Customs and Border Protection during the month of August. Who: This year’s program will feature a game show, CBP Family History Challenge along with exhibit tables from WorkLife4You, Genealogy, CBP’s Library and CBP’s New Additions. What: The 2012 Family Heritage Month ProgramWhen: Thursday, August 23, 2012, from 10:00 - 11:00 AMWhere: Customs and Border Protection, Ronald Reagan Building (RRB), the Polaris Ball Room. The RRB is accessible from the Federal Triangle Metro station on the blue/orange lines. If you are interested in participating in the CBP Family History Challenge game, please send an email to Vadrienne Starks at Vadrienne.Starks@dhs.gov by August 8, 2012. All emails should include your name, office and title. Twenty-four persons will be selected to participate in the game and will be notified by August 13, 2012 of their selection.Limited space is available and seating will be on a first come, first serve bases.This program is physically accessible to people with disabilities. Sign language interpretation will be provided.
