Secretary Duncan will join U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Mayor Thomas Menino for a town hall on college affordability. They will discuss with students, parents and community members how to tackle rising college costs to ensure that America's students can obtain the education they need to prepare for jobs of the 21st century.

Secretary Duncan will serve as the keynote speaker for the breakfast launch of United Providence! The nonprofit organization will help manage the turnaround process in a cluster of Providence's lowest-performing schools by improving student achievement through labor-management collaboration.

Secretary Duncan will address community college presidents, staff and stakeholders attending Rural Community College Day in Washington, D.C., regarding the administration's second-term agenda for higher education and share research on the benefits of Pell funding for rural community college students.
