FRC MEMORANDUM TO FEDERAL AGENCY CONTACTS: Repeat Information Session on ARCIS for WNRC Customers

Due to overwhelming demand, NARA's Federal Records Centers Program (FRCP) will hold another information session on the Archives and Records Centers Information System (ARCIS) for WNRC customers. This session will include a brief update on how the system has been deployed at other centers, a general overview on changes the new system will bring for WNRC customers, and a question and answer period.

The session will be held as follows:

Thursday, May 21
9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Jefferson Room

This session will be held in the National Archives Building, 700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. The National Archives Building is located across the street from the Archives/Navy Memorial metro stop (green and yellow lines). Please enter through the Pennsylvania Avenue side (researchers' entrance).

Due to space limitations, pre-registration is REQURED. To register, please provide your name, e-mail, telephone number, and agency via e-mail to tara.mcloughlin@nara.gov. You may reserve places for several staff in the same e-mail, but for security purposes we must have each individual's name, e-mail, and telephone number. Please contact Tara McLoughlin at 301-837-0467 if you need assistance.

NARA reserves the right to postpone or cancel a meeting at any time. We will make every effort to contact registrants by e-mail and telephone if that occurs, so complete information at the time of registration is very important. Meetings WILL BE CANCELLED if the Office of Personnel Management (www.opm.gov) announces a "closed", unscheduled leave", or "delayed arrival" policy for Federal employees for that day, or if there has been an elevation to threat level RED in the Homeland Security status.
