Find Your Flu Shot
By Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health & Human Services
Flu season is back. Time to wash your hands, sneeze into your elbow, and get your flu shot!
This year’s flu vaccine includes protection against H1N1 as well as two other seasonal flu viruses, so make sure you and your loved ones get your shots. (You can even remind people by sending an ‘e-card’ from the CDC website.)
If you need help figuring out where you can get vaccinated, we’re happy to report that, as we did last year, we’ve worked with Google to create the flu vaccine finder---a mapping feature that lets you enter a zip code and identify locations close to you that offer flu shots.
We feature the flu vaccine finder on flu.gov. In addition, when people search for “flu” or “flu shot” or similar terms on Google, the finder will appear at the top of the search results, along with some tips about flu prevention:
Click here to check it out: just type in your zip code and hit “go” to find locations near you that offer the flu shot.
