November 23, 2012 - The National Archives reports on six-month milestones of the Digital Government Strategy

Digital Government August 23, 2012 - The National Archives invites the public to provide input into the prioritization of services to optimize for mobile use and systems to enable via APIs. August 16, 2012 - The National Archives launches Archives.gov/digitalstrategy to publicly report the agency's progress in meeting the requirements of the Digital Government Strategy.

June 28, 2012 - The National Archives launches Archives.gov/developers to promote innovative uses of agency data in public and private sectors.

June 8, 2012 - The National Archives releases an updated Open Government Plan for 2012-2014. In the introduction to the plan, the Archivist of the United States, David Ferriero, discusses the upcoming implementation of the Digital Government Strategy.

The White House Presidential Memorandum May 23, 2012 - President Obama issued the directive, “Building a 21st Century Digital Government.” The Administration launched a comprehensive Digital Government Strategy aimed at delivering better digital services to the American people.
