Evacuating the Area of a Hurricane PSA (:30)
This is an important message from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
If a hurricane warning is issued for your area, or authorities tell you to evacuate, take only essential items. If you have time, turn off gas, electricity, and water and disconnect appliances. Make sure your automobile's emergency kit is ready. Be sure to take prescription drugs with you. Follow the designated evacuation routes and expect heavy traffic.
