CDC Radio Help

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention produces public service announcements (PSAs) on a variety of health and safety topics. This web page makes our PSAs easily available and timely by providing digital audio files for download. We rely on radio stations to convey these messages. Check back often as we are constantly adding new PSAs.

PSA clips are in MP3 (*.mp3) format and are broadcast quality. Radio stations can access the audio files directly from this page, or the files can be downloaded from the site and then emailed to the station.

To preview an MP3 file of the PSA, please click on the selected PSA.

To download and save the audio files on your computer:

• PC users - right-click the link and select "Save target as" or "Download link to disk";
• Mac users - click and hold the link and select "Save..." or "Download link to disk" to save the file.

This saves the file onto your computer. You can then listen to the PSA using your preferred MP3 player (iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc.)

Once you have it saved, simply attach it to an email if you wish to send it to a third party.

You can also subscribe to the CDC Radio series through an RSS feed. Simply click the subscribe link by the item you are interested in and you will be taken to a page that has convenient buttons to add this subscription to your software. This page will also show you the web address of the list page (RSS Feed) that you may copy and paste into the appropriate place in your software to manually subscribe.
