BOTUSA (Botswana-USA) is a partnership between CDC and the Government of Botswana to help stop the spread of TB and HIV/AIDS in southern Africa. BOTUSA provides training, technical assistance, and research; promotes innovation and evidence-based best practices; and supports the monitoring and evaluation of prevention, care, and treatment programs for HIV/AIDS and TB.

Botswana has received more than $300 million to scale up successful programs and launch HIV/AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and capacity building activities. The CDC Global AIDS Program helps lead this effort.
