Office of Acquisition and Logistics — Supplier Relationship Management
The changing dynamic for Veterans in the 21st century mandates that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) accomplish its myriad of missions more effectively and efficiently. Delivering the right services at the right time to the growing and ever changing population of Veterans will require cutting-edge information technology, innovative and improved acquisition processes, a far-reaching transformation of the VA workforce, and end-to-end innovations in management.
The supplier community is a critical component to its success in meeting the challenges of supporting Veterans in the 21st century. VA is managing the end-to-end acquisition process which will capitalize on industry expertise as an effort to improve the VA acquisition process as a whole.
The Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC) Vendor Communication Plan and Editorial Note will provide further insight into the SRM Initiative.
