Purpose:National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Office of Weights and Measures will hold a seminar for industry on the “Uniform Packaging and Labeling Regulations (UPLR)” as found in NIST Handbook 130 (http://www.nist.gov/pml/wmd/pubs/upload/10-iva-packlabreg-11-h130-final.pdf.) This seminar will consist of formal lecture, discussion, exercises, and hands–on examination of product labeling (sample agenda attached).
