Employee Shuttle from I-95 Exit 42 Commuter Lot

Effective Tuesday, Feb. 12, temporary shuttle service will be available from the Park & Ride commuter lot at Ext. 42 (I-95) to the main campus (Bldg. 2 entrance only). Shuttle can accommodate 11 passengers and will run to campus at 7am & 7:30am and from campus at 4pm & 4:30pm ONLY. VA ID, Yale ID and/or VA parking decal required to use this shuttle service. Shuttle is for West Haven campus-based VA & Yale employees only.

Victory Gardens progresses

Favorable weather conditions since the start of construction in September 2012 have allowed the Victory Gardens permanent supportive housing development to remain on schedule to begin occupancy in early 2014. Full Story

Flu season visitor policy

Due to the increase in influenza activity, we are temporarily amending the inpatient visitation policy. Children and youth under age 18 will not be permitted on inpatient units. Family members of Community Living Center residents are exempt from this change provided visitors have no flu-like symptoms. Full Story

We are open but with some service limitations. This affects all of our sites of care to include the community clinics and the Errera Center. Employees are expected to report as scheduled or to contact your supervisor to request leave. Patients with scheduled outpatient appointments at any location should call first. Patients without appointments presenting for non-emergent issues may encounter delays. Our ability to resume full services will depend on how quickly local roads and side streets can be cleared.
