Welcome to the Office of Weights and Measures newsletter “Weights and Measures Connection.” Connection is published periodically throughout the year, and provides brief articles of interest to the weights and measures community. It is intended to highlight current issues, respond to frequently asked questions and share news from across the country. The format of Connection is significantly different than that of our former quarterly newsletter, and we hope the changes make it more appealing and useful to those that read it. Since it is primarily an electronic document, we’ve made it easier to view and read on a computer screen. We’ve increased the number of issues per year and reduced the size to allow busy people time to browse each copy. And, as always, we are interested in your suggestions and feedback for making additional improvements to future issues. Let us know what you would like to see in the next issue of Connection.
