| Brief Description: | The Hall County CERT team is sponsored by the Hall County/Grand Island Department of Emergency Management and the Hall County LEPC. The group meets monthly for continuing education and training on the first Tuesday. Members of the CERT team also serve the Grand Island City Fire Department through the "After the Fire" program, assisting home owners to retrieve belongings and secure their homes following a house fire. |

| Brief Description: | CERT is a training program that prepares you to help your family, and your neighborhood in the event of a disaster. During an incident, emergency personnel may not be able to reach everyone right away. By getting trained in CERT, you will have the skills to help emergency responders save lives and protect property. As a member of a CERT team when authorized you can respond to disasters, participate in drills and exercises, and take additional training. |

| Brief Description: | The Scotts Bluff County CERT team has a very strong and active team. Some members are on the RAT team and respond after an emergency to the damaged area and then report back to Emergency Management. The CERT team works very close with the law enforcement agencies in the area. The CERT team also has a Search and Rescue team that works on missing person cases. The team meets the third Tuesday of every month. |

| Brief Description: | Kimball County CERT assists in county wide emergency operations, disaster relief and storm spotting. We are supported by the Civil Air Patrol to conduct search and rescue operations nationwide by our qualified members. | Brief Description: | CERT training is offered free to the public at least quarterly. Individuals receive training to prepare, respond, and recover from a disaster situation. Those who wish to join and participate in CERT at a team/responder level can also take advantage of monthly team trainings offerings on various disaster preparedness, response or recovery topics. CERT team members, when called upon, will also assist and support a number of local agencies during emergency and non-emergency times. |
