Gridded Model Output Statistics (MOS)

Experimental GFS MOS 2.5 km Precipitation Type


Files may be unavailable due to machine switches on NCEP CCS. These files are generated via MDL users' crons, not from the operational job stream. Delays in job completion and file availability are to be expected when NCEP switches production machines.


NOTE TO USERS: These are our experimental grids based on GFS MOS guidance. You can find our NAM-based MOS grids here.
