ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 37 – XML Encoding for Biometrics

ISO/IEC JTC 1 Subcommittee 37 is developing standards in many areas of biometrics. It has commenced work on XML-based standards in the areas of biometric interfaces, data interchange, and machine readable test data. This web page has been established as a globally accessible repository of "working copy" edits of the XML schemas now under development.  The files are subject to change as the SC 37 working groups issue updated versions.  This page is intended solely to support the standardization efforts.  Particularly, the schemas should not be adopted operationally until the listed standards are published in final form.
