Internet Infrastructure Protection (IIP)

Summary:

The Internet infrastructure is insecure and unreliable, we are trying to fix that.

Description:

Working with industry and Government to design, standardized, test and foster commercial deployment of new technologies and techniques to improve the security, robustness and scaling of core Internet infrastructure.

  • Domain Name System Security (DNSSEC).
  • Internet Domain Routing / Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Security.
  • Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6).

 

Major Accomplishments:

  • Inter-domain Routing Robustness:
    • Completed analysis of existing data driven BGP robustness mechanisms.
