How To Help

When crisis strikes, Americans are among the first to offer assistance to those in need.

The best way you can help those affected by a disaster overseas is to make a monetary donation to a reputable humanitarian organization working in the disaster zone.

As a U.S. government entity, USAID does not accept donations for our crisis response efforts, but many non-governmental organizations do.

There are several ways that you can identify the right organization for your donation:

If your organization would like to become a USAID disaster response partner, please learn more about submitting an unsolicited proposal.

If you are a vendor interested in providing commodities or transportation services to USAID, please learn more here.
