The Population Sciences SIG held their first Face-to-Face Meeting November 16, 2006 at the National Cancer Institute Center for Bioinformatics office in Rockville, MD. Thirty-five attendees made preliminary plans to produce a journal supplement featuring articles on key issues and opportunities and specific tools for population research informatics.
