FACS Core Facility (Experimental Transplantation and Immunology Branch, CCR)

Expertise

The ETIB FACS Core provides comprehensive flow and image cytometry services to ETIB investigators and to a number of other CCR branches. The FACS Core offers several unique optical technologies, including full-spectrum flow cytometry. These technologies are available to other laboratories both within and outside the NCI, as needed.

Flow Cytometry Facility (Experimental Immunology Branch, CCR)

Expertise

1) aseptic, high purity, high-speed cell sorting; 2) multiparametric analyses, including use of software developed in the facility for automated cluster analysis; 3) real-time kinetic analyses of calcium flux; and 4) rare event analysis, particularly for the study of stem cell and progenitor populations.

CCR-Frederick Flow Cytometry Core Facility (Cancer Inflammation Program, CCR)

Expertise

Immunophenotyping; apoptosis assays; cell cycle analysis and sorting; phenotyping of cells in proliferation assay.

Analysis of the characteristics of T cells that used for adoptive immunotherapy in patients as well as murine T cells used for mouse tumor model systems.
