EPA's Federal Register Web Site has been migrated to the Regulations.gov Web site. Please visit the Regulations.gov Web site for all current Federal Register information. We remind everyone that the official source for the electronic Federal Register is the Government Printing Office.

Information on this site will be archived and remain on this site, and will no longer be updated by EPA. Older documents are also available on the Regulations.gov Web site, the Government Printing Office website.

List Serve – A single listserv will be used to send a copy of the Federal Register table of contents to each of the previous list subscribers. The table of contents file will include links and topic tags for the notices that were previously included in the Environmental Subset Web site and topical listservs. Subscribers will no longer receive the full-text of FR notices.

EPA's Federal Register Transition

Beginning November 1, 2009, users of EPA's Federal Register Web site will be redirected to Regulations.gov for all Federal Register information

EPA is committed to providing public access to environmental information to the best of its ability with the resources available. EPA also works to ensure the Agency does not duplicate efforts undertaken elsewhere in the government. EPA has determined its Federal Register Web site contains duplicative information that can be found on the Regulations.gov Web site. In an effort to comply with a 2003 E-Government ("E-Gov") initiative, to reduce costs and increase efficiency, users will be redirected to Regulations.gov for all Federal Register information beginning November 1, 2009. Transitioning to Regulations.gov fulfills President Obama’s directive that agencies save costs. This approach provides the public with continuously improved capabilities. In addition, access to the complete version of the Federal Register is also made available on-line daily on the Government Printing Office ("GPO") Web site.

For more information, read more about the transition.
