The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced today the following assignments:
Rear Adm. Clinton F. Faison will be assigned as deputy chief, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, Falls Church, Va. Faison is currently serving as commander, Navy Medicine West/commander, Naval Medical Center, San Diego, Calif.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Michael J. Dumont will be assigned as deputy director for strategic initiatives, J-5, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C. Dumont previously served as chief of staff, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, Naples, Italy.
Rear Adm. (lower half) John F. Weigold will be assigned as mobilization assistant to the director for operations, J-3, U.S. Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. Weigold is currently serving as deputy commander, Seventh Fleet, Yokosuka, Japan.
