On June 10, 2019, Senate Resolution 0059 and House Resolution 0119 were introduced in the Michigan Senate and House “to commemorate June 10, 2019, as the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment by the state of Michigan.”
Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a proclamation designating June 10, 2019 through August 26, 2020 as the Year of the Women’s Suffrage Centennial.
Votes for Women 100, a consortium of organizations coordinating Michigan suffrage centennial commemorations run by the League of Women Voters of Washtenaw County.
