Summary
- The collection contains many first editions of Sousa's marches and concert works in mint condition. There are also many rare European editions of Sousa's works--published in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Rome. Of particular note is Sousa's elusive song Lonely (published in 1877 with words by Jefferson H. Nones). Published works are dedicated to or performed by Sousa and his band. In addition, the collection includes photographs, programs and promotional materials, and commemorative memorabilia about Sousa.
