PART-TIME VIDEOGRAPHER - WFMJ-TV has an immediate opening for a part-time news videographer.   Qualified candidates should have previous experience shooting and editing high-quality videos. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: shooting video of news events both independently and as a team with a news reporter, editing video under tight deadlines, set up and use of microwave live truck as well as portable backpack live units. Candidate will shoot still photographs for use on the station's various social media platforms. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Will average between 24 and 29 hours a week. Competitive pay.  Valid driver’s license required. Applicant must be able to legally and safely operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable driving rules and regulations.  Some travel may be necessary. MULTI-MEDIA PRODUCER – PART-TIME – 21 News has immediate openings for digital content producers to work in the TV news department of WFMJ-TV. The positions are part-time, approximately 28 hours per week. We’re looking for aggressive team players who can write and dig up local news and deliver it in new and exciting ways for broadcast, online and social media. Responsibilities include producing daily newscasts and writing and publishing news stories to the station's websites and social media sites. Preferred candidates will have strong writing skills, aren’t afraid to pick up a phone to get information and want to be first online with the story! Must be able to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment. Training is provided but you must bring to the job a competitive desire to dig up news and publish stories quickly across on air, social and digital platforms. You’ll be collaborating with experienced journalists as you become one. Journalism or equivalent degree preferred.
