The Canonical Clinical Problem Statement System (CCPSS) was
developed by Vanderbilt University in conjunction with the Emory
University Department of Medicine and Medical Systems Development
Corporation.
Purpose
CCPSS is used to describe and code patient problems in a
clinically meaningful way.
Description
CCPSS is a list of problems, modifiers, and term categories.
It contains over 15,000 problem terms and associated term
frequencies derived from patient records.
Audience
CCPSS is used clinicians and informatics researchers.
