Located at Stephen A. Douglas Armed Forces Reserve Center (Fort Douglas), Salt Lake City, Utah, the US Army Reserve Joint and Special Troops Support Command currently provides command and control and operational support to 19 subordinate commands, comprised of more than 246 units and/or detachments, and a Headquarters Detachment.
USARJSTSC provides command and control to specialized Army Reserve units and Army Reserve Elements (AREs) that provide operational support to combatant commands, Department of Defense agencies and Army major commands. The units that make up the command are:

These 19 commands are geographically dispersed throughout the United States; units and/or detachments of the USAR Joint and Special Troops Support Command are located in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Unites States Virgin Islands. The mission and skill set of our units and Soldiers are as diverse as their locations.
In addition to providing command and control to assigned units, the Joint and Special Troops Support Command also serves as the Executive Agent for the United States Army Reserve Command’s (USARC) Command Logistics Review Program (CLRP). The CLRP is an assessment program designed to assist in improving USARC's Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) logistics readiness and sustainability.
