Earlier this month Podio added Google Docs support. Now the collaboration platform has added another line to its file upload dialog. As we pointed out earlier, there’s plenty of room for further file integrations. There is also an opportunity for Podio to expand its Podio API to allow developers to do the work for them.
Users of the Buffer app and Buffer API can now schedule status updates to LinkedIn, in addition to Twitter and Facebook, from a single publishing interface. Buffer, the web-based service that allows its users to write tweets and status updates ahead of time and then schedule their posts throughout the day, has extended its service to include the professional networking platform LinkedIn.

Moving files around doesn’t seem like it should be as difficult as it sometimes is. I often feel trapped when I realize that the songs I added to my computer didn’t find their way to my phone, or the pictures I took at the beach still have not made it to my computer. For a long time I had accepted that this is how the world works and that I will have to live with it, but no longer must that be the case with all the storage APIs available.
