When writing web content

USE:

  • Logical Organization
  • Informative Headings
  • Active Voice
  • Use Pronouns
  • Common Words
  • Use lists and tables

AVOID:

  • Jargon and legalese
  • Hidden Verbs
  • Passive Voice
  • Long sentences or paragraphs
  • Abbreviations
  • Unnecessary Words
  • Information the user doesn't want
