This webinar provides a high-level overview of the Metrics Guidance and what you can do now to meet the guidance and have a well-developed metrics program at your agency. We will walk you through the process of gathering the 10 required Web performance metrics by implementing a common page tag on your websites, and present a case study of USDA's Google Analytics Implementation.

About the Presenters

Marina Fox is a Program Manager of Web Analytics at GSA's OCSIT, focused on comprehensive Web analytics collection, reporting, and visualization across the OCSIT-supported websites. Prior to joining GSA, Marina spent 11 years in the private sector, working in various analytical and management roles at Dow Jones & Co., AOL, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Deloitte Consulting. Ms. Fox holds a Master of Linguistics from N. Novgorod State Linguistics University (Russia) and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University.

Bernetta Reese is the Web Project Manager at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in the Office of Communications where she manages and oversees Web development and enhancement projects for the Department and provides strategic guidance in evaluating and implementing modern tools and technologies. Bernetta has led Web teams for more than 10 years. She combines her knowledge of government Web best practices with her expertise in Web content, design and development, policy and guidelines, analytics, and web accessibility. Before joining USDA, Bernetta worked at the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration, as a Senior Web Analyst in the Office of Public Affairs. She has managed several intranet sites and public websites for federal agencies, including Commerce, Education, and Housing and Urban Development.
