HELP – I Forgot My Password! (Revisited)Readers of issue 236 may remember a similar article on this service. The site has been improved since the last publication. It is easier to use and certainly worth another visit. NIH’s Center for Information Technology (CIT) has re-opened registration for iForgotMyPW, a self-service password management tool that allows you to reset your password or unlock your account yourself, without calling the NIH Help Desk. How to register To register for this time-saving service, simply go to http://iForgotMyPW.nih.gov, verify your account, and answer the following five identity verification questions:

Now, if you forget your password, all you have to do is log on to http://iForgotMyPW.nih.gov from a computer that has access to the Internet and Microsoft Internet Explorer or Apple Safari Internet browser, correctly answer the identity questions and reset your password (or unlock your account if you have already been locked out).
