Biography
Logan is part of the core team involved in the web/digital transformation of the Census Bureau. He is currently working on ways to package Census data to be more news-like for direct consumption and sharing by the public through modern channels including social media, mobile devices, smart phones, and tablets. Logan is also involved in customer development including efforts to attract developers to the Bureau's new application programming interfaces (APIs) and incorporating the many channels of customer feedback into the product development process. He joined the Census Bureau this year. He is an entrepreneur who was previously funded to participate in two incubators after getting his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Before his time in business, he was practicing as an architect in Chicago. He has won multiple awards for his ideas and is a big advocate of interdisciplinary collaboration and idea-sharing. He aims to foster greater and more collaborative participation from the American public in advancing the promise of 'gov2.0' / 'government as a platform'.
