First Order Fire Effects Model (FOFEM)

The on-line beta version of the First Order Fire Effects Model (FOFEM) is a proof of concept to test the feasibility and benefits of Web delivered fire modeling software. Model logic in Web FOFEM is based on Version 5.5 of the FOFEM desktop application. Some functionality found in the desktop version - such as the ability to save projects, run batch analyses and view summary reports - is not currently enabled in Web FOFEM. Potential future enhancements include common versioning and matching functionality of the Web and the desktop applications.

The Help documentation with Web FOFEM was developed for the desktop version of FOFEM 5.5. Though the user interface screens look different the field names and report attributes are the same.
