Request to change the Responsible Individual on a Station Permit
Please allow 2 months lead time to process your revision request.
Please provide the following:
1. Permit Name and Number (these are Station Permits in the name of an agency or banding group)
2. An email from the current Responsible Individual that he/she wishes to be removed from the permit
3. A completed permit application which includes 3 references that can provide details about the applicants banding experience. Click here for New Application information.
a. Please attach a detailed banding resume to the application which will help expedite the application process. This should include a timeline with an estimate of the number of birds banded and the species or species group for each project worked on and an estimate of birds handled for each trapping technique, auxiliary marking technique and other procedures like blood sampling. Please refer to the subpermit link for an example of what applicants will need. New Sub Permits
4. If the new Responsible Individual will be continuing ongoing approved projects, we only need a statement to that effect. For any new projects a short project summary should be submitted.
Special Considerations:
** For Federally Threatened or Endangered Species,
permission is required from
both the BBL and the USFWS Regional Migratory Bird Offices.
