October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In 2008, (the most recent year numbers are available) 201,203 women in the United States were diagnosed with breast cancer and 40,589 women in the United States died from breast cancer and is the second most common cause of cancer deaths in women. Did you know that mammograms can detect breast cancer early and early detection makes a big difference in a woman’s chance of survival?
