Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building

The Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building is an impressive structure with its glass-walled atrium that is open to the public. Congress, through the Architect of the Capitol, directed the architect/developer team for the building to design and construct a monumental building that would last for 200 years. The architectural design complements both Union Station and the Old City Post Office Building and completes the plan for the Columbus Circle complex established when Union Station first opened in 1907.

The Administrative Office works to ensure an exceptional environment for all employees in the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building. The following amenities are available to employees:

  • Fitness Center
  • Health Unit
  • Thurgood Marshall Child Development Center (on-site day care facility)
  • Treasury Department Federal Credit Union
  • ATM
  • Cafeteria
  • AO Library
  • On-site building management and security staffs

The Administrative Office also has employees located in Phoenix, AZ, Charleston, SC, and San Antonio, TX.
