    The updated US Extension to SNOMED CT is available for download. The download now includes files in both SNOMED CT Release Format 1 (RF1) and Release Format 2 (RF2) versions.

  • IHTSDO Affiliate Forum Invites Nominations for Standing Committees Due September 1, 2012

    Call for Nominations: The IHTSDO Affiliate Forum (AF) is soliciting nominations for an AF representative on each of the four IHTSDO Standing Committees – Content, Quality Assurance, Implementation & Innovation, and Technical. Nominees must be either Affiliate Licensees or a recognized representative of an Affiliate Licensee organization, and must also register as members of the Affiliate Forum. Nominees will serve a two-year period beginning on January 1, 2013. To nominate a person, download the appropriate nomination form and send the completed form to info@ihtsdo.org. Nominations are due to the IHTSDO by September 1, 2012.

  • SNOMED CT® to ICD-10 Cross Maps – Technology Preview Release

    The IHTSDO released the Technology Preview of SNOMED CT to ICD-10 cross maps. The cross maps support epidemiological, statistical, and administrative reporting and are available for download on the UMLS Web site. The contents map July 2010 SNOMED CT to ICD-10 second edition (2008). For more information about the cross maps, see the IHTSDO press release.

  • Update to SNOMED CT®: International Release, July 2012
    August 9, 2012
    The IHTSDO released an updated version of the July 2012 International Release. The update corrects errors in the RF1 Relationships file (sct1_Relationships_Core_INT_20120731.txt) and replaces the previously released version. It is available for download on the UMLS Web site as of August 9. Users should download and use the updated file.

  • SNOMED CT®: International Release, July 2012
    July 31, 2012
    The July 2012 International Release of SNOMED CT is available for download from both the SNOMED CT and Downloads menus of the UTS. The download contains SNOMED CT files in both Release Format 1 (RF1) and the new Release Format 2 (RF2) versions. Additionally, updated RF2 to RF1 compatibility tools are available for download from the same Web page.
