Overview

The Federal Interagency Working Group on Environmental Justice (EJ IWG) meetings provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss best practices and model programs. Stakeholders include grassroots communities; federal, state, tribal, and local government agencies; business/industry; academics and other interested parties.

The EJ IWG stakeholder meetings are planned in conjunction with other environmental and public health related meetings to maximize the opportunities for reaching a broad spectrum of environmental justice stakeholders. These regional meetings also provide an opportunity to explore how the Federal Government can meet its responsibilities and work effectively with communities experiencing environmental justice issues.
