Amendment 0003 to BAA HSCG32-10-R-R00019:

On 19 September 2010, the National Incident Commander declared that the Deepwater Horizon well-site no longer poses a substantial threat of a discharge or a substantial threat to the public health or welfare of the United States.  Additionally, there has been no observable release of hydrocarbons from the well-site since approximately 12 July 2010.  Therefore, the Interagency Alternative Technology Assessment Program (IATAP) will stop accepting new white papers in support of the Deepwater Horizon Response by closing Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) HSCG32-10-R-R00019 on 30 September 2010.  All white papers submitted prior to this date will be adjudicated in accordance with the instructions provided in this BAA.  After the BAA closure date of 30 September 2010, response ideas can continue to be submitted to the Responsible Party through the website, www.RestoreTheGulf.gov by following the instructions using the 'SUBMIT A SUGGESTION' link.
