2010 POP/IACA Conference 2010 POP/IACA Conference Links Crime Analysis, Problem-Oriented Policing

Crime analysis is essential to effective problem-oriented policing. To strengthen this connection, the Center for Problem-Oriented Policing and the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) are cosponsoring the 2010 International Problem-Oriented Policing and Crime Analysis Training Conference, with support from the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. The Conference is being hosted by the Arlington (Texas) Police Department.

The conference is an opportunity for analysts and police officers at all levels to improve their abilities to analyze crime and disorder problems and develop and implement more effective responses to them. Some of the highlights include:
