The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) aims to generate increased public support for the law enforcement profession by recording and commemorating the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers, and provides information that will help promote officer safety. The Fund maintains the largest, most comprehensive database of line-of-duty officer deaths, which serves as a national information clearinghouse on the topic. Regular research bulletins are published by the Fund, which include annual officer fatality reports highlighting statistics on law enforcement line-of-duty deaths as well as examining the common trends and issues in officer fatalities. NLEOMF also compiles information about individual officers who have died in the line of duty, and posts updates on fallen law enforcement officers. For more information and to receive these updates, please visit their website at http://www.nleomf.org/facts/recently-fallen/.
