Healthy Native Communities Fellowship Application Process Now Open (06/08/2012)
The application process is now open for the 2013 Healthy Native Communities Fellowship. We are looking for community teams of two to three people who are part of a coalition or group organizing for action in wellness. The application process starts with getting a team together and submitting an online Letter of Interest (eight short questions). The 2013 Fellowship sessions will be held in March, June and October.
Healthy Native Communities Partnership Inc. is a nonprofit organization that supports capacity building, leadership development, partnership and networking so that Native communities realize their own vision of wellness.
Letters of Interest are due by August 3, 2012. Once the letter is completed, an application packet will be sent to applicants. Supporting documents will be due by October 5, 2012. These will include two letters of recommendation, a letter of support from the CEO of your organization, and a signed supervisor agreement form.
Team interviews will be scheduled as completed application packets are received throughout November 2012, and selected teams will be notified by the end of December 2012.
