About SmartWay Trends, Indicators, and Partner Statistics (TIPS)
Welcome to EPA SmartWay’s “TIPS” webpage!
The SmartWay Trends, Indicators, and Partner Statistics (TIPS) page is a source of leading freight movement industry indicators and quick facts on current SmartWay Partner performance metrics. It is intended to be used by industry, academia, media, and others with an interest in goods movement sustainability and freight industry trends.
The TIPS site compiles and analyzes data from key segments of the freight transport industry, and presents it using informative graphics, charts and statistics, with links to related information. EPA will update the TIPS site periodically, so I invite you to visit it often.
Our goal is to provide an informative site, which showcases the performance of industry leaders and drives improvement across the industry. We encourage your feedback on TIPS content so that we can further enhance the value of this resource.
