Improving New Homes with Indoor airPLUS

EPA created Indoor airPLUS to help builders meet the growing consumer preference for homes with improved indoor air quality. To earn the Indoor airPLUS label, the builder includes up to 30 home design and construction features to help protect homes from moisture and mold, radon, chemicals, combustion gases, pests, and other airborne pollutants.

Building with Indoor airPLUS

Builders and verification professionals are incorporating Indoor airPLUS to help improve indoor air quality in new homes. Indoor airPLUS Recognizes Top Raters
The Indoor airPLUS program recognized seven verifier partners for outstanding leadership in verifying and promoting Indoor airPLUS qualified homes. Out of 148 Indoor airPLUS verifier partners, these seven organizations led the way in qualifying the most Indoor airPLUS homes. Their efforts are helping to create healthier and greener homes, advanced indoor air quality in residential construction, and provide the many benefits that Indoor airPLUS qualified homes offer to homeowners and families.
