Internship Program on Capitol Hill (Washington, DC Office):

 

The internship program in Senator Burr's Washington office consists of two semester-long sessions in the spring and fall, three five-week sessions during the summer months. During their time in Washington, D.C., interns participate in a wide array of activities ranging from constituent services and conducting U.S. Capitol tours to legislative research. In addition, interns are encouraged to enjoy the many other activities Washington, D.C. offers. Applicants are generally college students from the State of North Carolina, and preference is given to upperclassmen studying political science, economics, and international relations. 

We are no longer accepting applications for Fall 2012.  To apply for an internship for the Spring 2013 semester, please complete the application. Applications with all accompanying materials must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16th, 2012.
