Our purpose as the 3rd Infantry Division Band's Family Readiness Group is to maintain a program that provides outreach and assistance to the Families of the Band and encourages Family self-sufficiency, which allows deployed Soldiers to focus on the mission

FRG Programs encourage self-sufficiency and resiliency among our Family Members by providing information, referral assistance, and mutual support through a communications network among the chain of command, Family Members, and community resources.

This is crucial in order to allow deployed Soldiers to focus on their mission.

The Band FRG's mission is to:
~Act as an extension of the unit in providing official, accurate command information.
~Provide mutual support between the command and FRG membership.
~Advocate more efficient use of community resources
~Help Families solve problems at the lowest level.
