Shared Use Paths

The Access Board is developing accessibility guidelines for shared use paths. Shared use paths provide a means of off-road transportation and recreation for various users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, skaters, and others, including people with disabilities. This rulemaking will complement guidelines the Board is developing for public rights-of-way and outdoor developed areas, including trails.
