As a Military Service Member, DoD Civilian, or Family member, you have earned valuable benefits to assist you as you plan your transition. One of these benefits, ACAP Employment Assistance, is available online or at your local ACAP Center. ACAP offers a wide range of services, tools, workshops and seminars that are available to all ACAP eligible clients.

ACAP On-Line puts you in charge of how you receive employment assistance by providing three easy options for getting started:

  • You can use ACAP On-Line to schedule a TAP Employment Workshop, specialty seminars or Employer Days as well as to get help from an ACAP Counselor.
  • You can contact your nearest ACAP Center to schedule an employment assistance event or individual counseling session.
  • If you are unable to attend a TAP Workshop, you can access the Job Assistance Training Application (JATA) online.

ACAP On-Line also gives you access to the same job search tools and resources used in the ACAP Center to write resumes and cover letters, practice job interview skills and conduct online research. To help you get started, you can select VMET to download your Verification of Military Experience and Training (DD Form 2586) document.

Whatever your situation, ACAP can make a positive difference. Once you no longer are on active duty, you’ll continue to receive the same kind of support. Even if you don’t live near an ACAP Center, ACAP On-Line can keep you in touch with the information and services you need. Consider ACAP your resource for all your employment needs.
